Mildred Scroggs
Mildred L. Scroggs of Conway, formerly of Newport, moved to her Heavenly home on May 8, 2013 at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas, after an extended illness.
She was born to Luther and Martha Mae McDonald on Christmas Day, 1919, in McRae, Arkansas.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of twelve. Her special interests were cooking, sewing, reading and working crossword puzzles that she excelled in. She was a longtime member of Holden Avenue Church of Christ in Newport and most recently a member of University Church of Christ in Conway.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mae McDonald, her husband Kenneth C. Scroggs, and one daughter, Rebecca Ann Scroggs. She is survived by her children, Larry K. Scroggs and wife Pat of Germantown, Tennessee, Karen Davis and husband Larry of Conway, and Pamela Belleville of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Ken, Kevin and Kyle Scroggs, Kellie Duggin, Kristin Bunch, Kendi Fraitag and Brad Belleville.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Interment will be in Beebe Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
