Mildred Thornton

Mildred Louise Thornton, 88, of Sherwood passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. She was born June 13, 1930 in Beebe, Arkansas to Marzie Lee and Lillian Mae Beaver. She was a member of Levy Church of Christ.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Norma Rios (Nicholas); sons, Chuck Thornton and Curtis Thornton (Kristi); grandchildren, Christina Rios-Campbell (Jeff), Anthony Rios, Johnathan Corey Thornton, Joshua William Thornton, Austin Tyler Thornton, Thomas Gage Thornton, Kendall Faith Thornton, Cassidy Brasen Thornton and Zachary Cheroff; great-grandchild, Melanie Rose Cheroff; and a brother, Lindy Warren Beaver. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Henry Thornton; daughter, Teresa Sue Cheroff; and brothers: Orton and Morrilton Lee Beaver.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday at Levy Church of Christ with interment in AR State Veterans Cemetery.
