Benton, AR - Mildred Marie Todd passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on May 22, 1937, in Glennwood, Arkansas. Mildred had a kind and loving heart that was evident to everyone she met.

Mildred was known for her selflessness and putting others before herself. Her pleasant demeanor and beautiful smile drew people towards her. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel welcome, never treating anyone as a stranger. Her kind nature knew no bounds.

Despite her kindness, Mildred also possessed a streak of stubbornness which showcased her independence. However, one of Mildred's most admirable qualities was her grounded faith in God. She firmly believed that God performed miracles and wanted to share her faith with everyone she encountered. Mildred never passed judgment but accepted everyone with open and loving arms.

In her spare time, Mildred enjoyed tending to her garden and growing the most beautiful flowers. Her green thumb brought vibrant color and life to the surroundings. Additionally, she had a collection of angels that held a special place in her heart.

Preceding Mildred in death are her son, James Edward Babbitt; granddaughters Angela Terry and Jennifer Terry; parents Vicie and Woodrow Reynolds; and father Vernon Hughes.

Mildred will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons Hershel Babbitt and Billy Bob Babbitt Jr., both of Benton, Arkansas; step-daughters Deborah Todd of Mount Ida, Arkansas and Linda Todd of Vicksburg, Mississippi; step-son Billy Joe Todd and wife Kim of Gonzales, Louisiana; Grandchildren Valerie Babbitt, James Babbitt, Mandy Babbitt, Melanie Babbitt, Charles Babbitt, Shawn Babbitt, Brent Babbitt, Justin Babbitt, and Brittany Babbitt; many great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters Catherine Reynolds and Charlotte Cogburn, and brothers Jimmy Tom Reynolds, Joe Reynolds, and Randy Reynolds. Mildred also leaves behind a host of family and friends whose lives were touched by her presence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 18, 2024, at Helping Hands located at 1212 W South Street, Benton, AR 72015. The service will begin at 6:00 PM, with the ceremony concluding at 8:00 PM. It will be a time to remember Mildred's remarkable life and the impact she made on the lives of those around her.

Mildred Marie Todd will be remembered for her genuine kindness, unwavering faith, and loving nature. Her legacy will continue to inspire others to live selflessly and compassionately. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a difference in the world and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
