Miles Weston King, 85, of Little Rock, passed away January 27, 2017. Born in Bauxite, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as a real estate broker. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church where he was active in men's Bible study. Miles was in recovery with Alcoholics Anonymous for 45 years where he worked to help others battling addiction.
Preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Ruby Rucker King, brother, Bob King and a sister, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy Due King; children, Karen Hicks (Victor) of Mabelvale and Kristie Cover (Eugene) of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Victoria Hicks of Mabelvale and Taylor Cover of Plano; brother-in-law, John Due and sister-in-law, Mary Due.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 5 from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services with Military Honors will be Monday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
