Millard McCauley, age 85 of Okolona died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at his home. He was born April 19, 1921 in Okolona, AR the son of the late Harvey and Euphie Kelly McCauley. He was lifelong resident of Okolona, a heavy equipment operator, a former road foreman for Clark County Road Dept, former mayor of Okolona and a avid horseman. He was a member of the Smyrna United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Katherine "Cooter" White McCauley; one son, "Moots" McCauley of Prescott; one daughter, Phyllis Rhoden of Okolona; three brothers, Joe McCauley of Arkadelphia, Mack and Wayne McCauley both of Okolona; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2007 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Gill Sill officiating. Interment will be in the Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Smyrna Cemetery Fund.
