Millie L. Rouse, 83, of Sherwood passed away Saturday November 15, 2008. She was a member of Sherwood First Baptist Church, a substitute teacher for Pulaski County School System, a volunteer at Southwest Hospital and owner and operator of Millie?s alterations. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, devoted to her family and her country.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Houston O?Neal Rouse, of Sherwood; two daughters, Terri (David) Watson, of Sherwood and Lynn (Chuck) Townsend of Bryant; son, Neal Rouse, of Searcy; and grandchildren, Whitney, Tricia, Christy and Joe. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery in Carlisle. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
