Milton Martin
Milton Russell Martin ,88,passed away April 29, 2011 at Pleasant Valley Living Center. He was the husband of the late Rose Ellen Piazza Martin. He was a contractor after WWII. Later he owned Arkansas Nursing Home for over twenty-two years.
Mr. Martin served in the Army Air Corps as a pilot and was awarded the Air Medal with two oak leaf clusters. He was a member of Albert Pike Lodge #714, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and a member of the Shriners for over fifty years. He was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
He is survived by a daughter Susan Martin and a son R. Wayne Martin, grandchildren Shannon Goins, Brian Goins, Russ Martin, and Courtney Palmisano and four great-grandchildren Kylie and Cole Martin and Michael and Julianna Palmisano.
His body will be cremated, a memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church,1101 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.
