Mitchell Sandidge, 76, of Hensley, Arkansas, formerly of Vidalia, Louisiana, died Monday, December 12, 2017. He was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Leroy and Ella Sandidge on April 7, 1941.
Mr. Sandidge was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Janice C. Sandidge. Survivors include his children, Melissa Sandidge Knox and husband, Brian of Hensley, Julia Sandidge Byrd and husband, Mike of Vidalia, Scott Sandidge and wife, Colleen of Natchez, Mississippi; grandchildren, Chris Harrell and wife, Sherry of Clayton, Louisiana, Calley Reed and husband, Danny of Vidalia, Lee Knox of Hensley, Corey Walker and Jennifer of Brandon, Mississippi, Marissa Walker King and husband, Preston of Pineville, Louisiana, Dylan Sandidge and Devyn Sandidge of Natchez; fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Butler and husband, Roy of Kosciusko, Mississippi and a brother, Edward Sandidge of Gulfport, Mississippi.
