Mittie Senora Keister, age 95, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, went to meet her sweet Jesus who welcomed her home on March 30, 2008. She was born in Muse, Oklahoma on October 5, 1912. Mittie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Teddy O. Keister.
Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her children, Lillie Proctor (Julian), Claire Chowning (Joe), Carroll Keister (Juanita), Jerry Keister (Charlotte), Marilyn Cook (John), Johnnie Keister (Betty), and Shirley Throckmorton (Gary); 30 Grandchildren; 73 Great Grandchildren; many Great Great Grandchildren and several Great, Great, Great, Grandchildren.
Mittie was a loving wife and mother who was totally devoted to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family wishes to express thank you to the great staff who administered loving care to our mom while at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Prentice officiating. Burial will be in Bayou Meto Cemetery, Jacksonville.
