Modine Haynie
Modine Kelley Haynie of North Little Rock, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, two days shy of her 93rd birthday. She was born in Hattieville, Arkansas, January 1, 1925, to Stonewall Jackson Kelley and Fannie Taylor Kelley.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Stolzer, Gloria Goss, and Debbie Sutherland; two grandchildren, Kelli Simmons and Heather Sutherland; three great-grandchildren, Haley Johnson, Kellan Simmons, and Kate Simmons;. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, and her husband, Herbert Harvey Haynie.
Modine was a 60 year member of Graves Memorial Baptist Church, a fifty year member of Eastern Star in both the Beth Chapter and Big Rock Chapter. She was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed sharing her talent.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Graves Memorial Baptist Church, 4617 Oak Grove Road, North Little Rock, AR 72118.
Visitation will be from at 1:00 - 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home with the funeral immediately following. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
