Monie Carter

Monie Lou Carter, 68, of Cabot, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 10, 2012. Monie was born to Willie and Bessie Mitchell on October 15, 1943. She devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Monie was "Granny" to all who knew her.
Monie is survived by her husband, Vernon Carter of Cabot; her five children, Randy Choate of Little Rock, Eddie Choate and wife Tonya of Ward, Kim Kirchner of Little Rock, Teresa Jarvis of Little Rock, Dale Williams of Ward; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; six brothers; and one sister. She is preceded in death by her first granddaughter, Monie Michelle, her parents, and one sister, Margie Elmore.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
