Monty Ellis Johnston, 60, of North Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Hospice Home Care.
Monty was born on May 11, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Fremont Ellis and Altha Ray Johnston. He graduated from North Little Rock High School and enlisted into the Army National Guard. Monty began his career as a Car Salesman and ended in Customer Service at The Home Depot. Monty was a member of the Untied Methodist Church and American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with his parents, children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Cowboys. He had a kind soul and will be missed by many friends and family.
Survivors include his mother, Altha Ray Johnston; four children, Christopher Johnston, Nicholas Johnston, Johnathan Johnston, and Kimberly Brown; nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fremont Ellis Johnston and one brother, Randy Johnston.
