Morris Lyndon (Lyn) Pippin, 81, of North Little Rock passed away on July 26, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years, Linda Pippin; his three daughters: Lisa Owens (Dirk) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Fayeth Hurt (Jay) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Brandi Hurtado (Oscar) of Sherwood, Arkansas and his three grandchildren, Grace, Evan & Seth Hurt.
Lyn will be remembered by his friends and family for his sense of humor, artistic abilities, eccentric gardening and “lack” of filter. Lyn spent his entire career in the Arkansas Army National Guard and retired in 1993 as a Brigadier General. He loved the Military life, and he loved his many friends in the National Guard. After retirement, Lyn was an active member of First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock and enjoyed having breakfast with his friends at Waffle House. A special thanks to all his friends there, staff and waitresses.
Also, a special thanks to all the wonderful neighbors and friends who reached out to the family during this difficult time.
Due to Covid, only a small family graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 10:30 am at Gravel Ridge Cemetery in Gravel Ridge, Arkansas.
State of AR COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required. Maintain social distancing.
