Mr. John L Donar

John L Donar, age 80 of Greenbrier, went home to Jesus April 20, 2016. He was born December 11, 1935, in Binghamton, New York. He is survived by Alice, wife of 57 years, sons Tim Donar of Conway, Tom Donar of California, a daughter Tammy Ambrosius of Florida, and a brother David Donar of Colorado. He has 9 grandchildren. John Donar had a focus on missions work his entire life. Spent time with Wycliff Bible Translators, volunteering on missions fields around the world installing phone systems for schools and hospitals. He always had a passion in serving others. For 26 years he actively served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Little Rock as captain. He will be greatly missed by all; but as believers, it’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you soon. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home in Conway. A memorial service will be May 7th at Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Conway at 2 p.m.Arrangements under the direction of Griffin Leggett Conway FH, CONWAY, AR.
