Alicia (Rodriguez) Silguero, 72, of Conway, Arkansas, entered into rest on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born May 8, 1942, in Kingsville, Texas, a daughter of the late Ismael and Dolores (Vidal) Rodriguez. Alicia was also preceded in death by her husband, Israel Silguero, who died June 1, 2006. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. Mrs. Silguero was involved in all of her family’s activities. She is remembered by her children as a devoted mother, who enjoyed and was talented in needle work, crochet and dress making. She was the inspiration for the family restaurant, Lolita’s Tex Mex and Grill in Maumelle and later in Conway. Survivors are her children, Israel Rodriguez Silguero, Jr., Enedina “Nina” Silguero Luna, Cynthia A. Silguero, Veronica A. Serna, Monica A. Silguero, Margot A. Silguero, Dolores “Lolita” Silguero; sisters, Rachel Henderson of Kingsville, Texas; Elena Perez of Ricardo, Texas; her brother, Juan Rodriguez of Kingsville, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces. Visitation and rosary will be held from 6:00 until 8:00pm, Tuesday, August 12, 2014, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Conway. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am, Wednesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. Entombment will follow in Riverwood Mausoleum in Maumelle, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Conway, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Arkansas 72034. 501-327-5000.
