Ivory Lee Chandler was born in Conway, Arkansas on December 7, 1923 to Green and Nancy Chandler. She was the second oldest of 9 children.
Mrs. McClure was well known to the community and loved by many and was a faithful member at Mount Gale Baptist Church where she served as Usher Board President until her health failed . She was employed as a domestic with Harold and Gertrude Watson for over 30 years. She was also employed with the Conway Human Development Center (29 Years) and later became a grandparent at Theodore Jones Elementary School Conway, Arkansas.
Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by her late husband Homer McClure, Parents, Green and Nancy Chandler, sisters Bernice, Pauline, Archie Mae Bailey and Cora Scott and brotherâs Homer, Lawrence and Charles Chandler and great granddaughter, Adrian Milliken.
Mrs. Ivory Chandler-McClure departed this earth leaving behind her son Pastor V.L. Faulkner
(Dorothy) of Forrest City, Arkansas , step son Fred McClure, her last living sister Ruth Collins of Syracuse, NY, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, adopted son, Jay Watson and a host of family and friends.
