Florence Vess, 86, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Little Rock.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl Vess, of Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Rita Vess, of Scott; daughter, Cherry Smith, of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Erika Hoffman, Robert L. Smith, Jennifer and Andrew Vess; and two great-grandchildren, Myers and Hannah Hoffman.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 62 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
