Lottie Mae Whitfield, age 96, passed away April 28th. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and a cherished grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Whitfield; her daughter, Sadie Spears; a granddaughter, Karen Freeman, four brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by five daughters, Annie Buckner, Doris Brockinton (Charles), Judy Riggin (Henry), Sharon Kempf (Stanley), and Freda Copeland (Johnny); two sisters, Mary Rees, of Searcy, and Myrtle Ezell, of Cabot; brother, Vernon Garvin of Medford, Oregon; and thirteen grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the Cabot Nursing and Rehab Staff and also the Arkansas Hospice for their loving care. The family will gather at the home of Lottie Mae Whitfield at 6411 Jim Hall Road.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Cemetery Fund at the Bethel Methodist Church, Jacksonville/Conway Rd., Jacksonville, AR 72076.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
