Mary Ann Edwards Young of Atkins passed away peacefully on May 22, 2010 at age 86. She was born on March 6, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Howard James Edwards, Sr. and Marceille Spann. She was a devoted loving and caring wife and mother to all. She was a legendary cook, natural born painter, and master of family negotiations. She had a great sense of humor. We couldn't love her more.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, William B. Young Sr., daughter, Barbara Ann Grice and her brother, Howard James Edwards Jr. She is survived by her sister, Marceille Schricte; her three children, William Bradley Young Jr., of Sherwood, AR, and Robert Allen Young Sr., of Bigelow, AR; five grandchildren, Dawn Michele Young, Christopher Allen Young, Robert Allen Young Jr., Robert Dane Young and James Bradley Young; four great-grandchildren, Collin Tirman, Skye Tirman, Wilder Young, and Jordyn Young; step-son, Donald Wayne Young, of Springfield; and two step grand-children, Jeff Young, and Kimber LaBlonde.
