Mr. William Pegrim

William Lawrence Pegrim, age 70, of NLR passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. He was born to the late, William Jess and Edna V. Kesler Pegrim on March 22, 1941 in Little Rock, AR.

Larry attended North Texas State University, Denton, Texas majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Painting and Art History. He also took courses in art, design and painting from University of Illinois, University of Arkansas and the University of Notre Dame.

He taught Interior Design for a year and a half at South Central Career College. He worked as an Interior Designer for Blaylock Interiors of Little Rock and the Allusive Butterfly Gift and Interiors.

He served on the Quapaw Quarter Association; was State Board Member and Vice President of the Mental Health Association of Arkansas; was a Delegate-At-Large for the National Mental Health Association in Washington D.C.; was a Participating Designer for six of the Arkansas Symphony Designer Houses and was Past Associate Member of the Interior Design Society.

Survivors include his life partner, Mr. Larry D. King and one niece, Mrs. Patty Sue Mathes and her family of Oklahoma.
