Myrtice Maurine Lea, age 84, of Manning died Monday. April 8, 2013 in Arkadelphia. She was born September 11, 1928 in Nix Township (Dallas Co.) the daughter of the late Joseph Dean and Elizabeth Peters Crouse. She was a member of Manning Baptist Church and the Dallas County Extension Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O. D. Lea; a granddaughter, Melissa Ann Lea; a brother, W. D. Crouse and one sister, Frances Crouse Goza.
Survivors are one son, Eddie Joe Lea and wife, Brenda; one daughter, Belinda Holloway all of Manning; one brother, Woodrow Crouse of Fordyce; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, April 12th at Manning Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry George and Bro. David Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in DeLamar Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Tracy, Sid, Jason and Nathan Holloway, Tony Roberts and Dylan Thomerson.
