Nancy Gill Carroll, age 95, of Amity, passed away on September 28, 2023.

She was born on November 1, 1927, in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Roy Gary Gill and Florence Nola Leroy Gill.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L Carroll II; her sister, Jean Gill Moss; and her brother-in-law, Sam Moss.

Nancy was a proud and active member of the Community Methodist Church of Amity where she taught many Childrens and Womens classes. On July 31, 1942, Nancy married the love of her life, Robert, where they spent 59 loving years together. She was a wonderful housewife and loved to garden, plant her flowers, and paint. She lived a servant life, volunteering during World War II where she worked rubber drives. At a young age, Nancy attended the first showing of the Wizard of Oz. Everyone that knew Nancy knew she lived her life as a simple Christian. She was intelligent, cultured, wonderful, and Nancy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
