Nancy Louise Keck

Nancy Louise Petelle Sahlin Keck, 83, of Conway died September 30, 2022.  She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late James and Mary Louise Mascal Petelle.  Nancy was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Conway.  She loved animals, plants and flowers—especially roses, and she always won at Bingo!

Survivors include eight children:  Michael Sahlin (Ngan), Joseph Sahlin (Amy), Mary Israsena, Patricia Ryder, Terese Pulliam (Dennis), John Sahlin (Kristil), Carole Adams (Billy) and James Sahlin (Amanda); a brother, James Petelle, Jr. (Edie); four step children, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by the father of her children, Vernon Sahlin, second husband, Charles Keck, Sr., and two daughters:  Barbara Moore (Tom) and Catherine Sahlin.

Mass is 1:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway, Arkansas.  Inurnment will follow at the church columbarium. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Human Society of Faulkner County or to St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Superior Health and Rehabilitation in Conway, for the love and care that they provided to Nancy in her final years.
