Nathan Thomas Bell, age 33, of Amity passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his home. He was born July 25, 1991 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Jennifer (Hollingshead) Stinson and David Bell. Nathan was a member of Community Methodist Church of Amity. Nathan absolutely enjoyed playing music and was an extremely talented musician. He attended Arkansas Tech University for four years studying music. Nathan also attended National Park College studying computer science. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking, kayaking the rivers, mountain biking, and exploring the national parks of Arkansas, as well as Civil War sites. He was respectful of veterans like his grandfather and step-father. Nathan also enjoyed his yearly camping, hunting, and fishing trips with his grandfather, uncle, and cousins. Nathan had a kind soul. He would take in any animal that needed to be cared for and would also help anyone in need. He was known for being a quiet, caring, and loyal person towards his friends and family. Nathan was quite intelligent but had a great sense of humor and was considered to be comical. Nathan absolutely loved his family. His family was most important to him. Nathan enjoyed the holidays and family gatherings. He loved cooking and grilling for his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Muriel Hollingshead; uncle, Mark Hollingshead; and father, David Bell.
Nathan is survived by his mother and step-father, Jennifer and Tim Stinson of Amity; aunts, Molly Young (Danny) of Amity and Starlene Hollingshead of Shawnee, Oklahoma; cousins, Drake Lambert and Renee Lambert, both of Amity; Crystal Smith (Jacob) of California, Daniel Hollingshead and Jonathan Hollingshead, both of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2025 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Brother John McAnnally and Brother Jeremy Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Amity. Pallbearers are Dale Sutton, Parker, Sutton, Pake Sutton, Kenny Rinkle, Dan Kight, and Alex Hollingshead. Honorary pallbearer is Jacob Beard.
The family would like to express a very special thank you to the members of Community Methodist Church of Amity for their love and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Human Society of Clark County or Community Methodist Church of Amity Youth.
