Nedia Bridges

Nedia Faye Kimbrell Bridges, 81, of Sherwood, Arkansas, went to join her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2022 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. Born to William and Eva McEwen Kimbrell on September 26, 1941, Nedia was one of 4 siblings who grew up in Southern Arkansas. She enjoyed bowling, traveling in her RV across the country, arts and crafts, and spending time with her Sunday School class. She was very active in the kitchen committee in her church, Faith Baptist Church in Levy, where she was a longtime member. She was also a very proud breast cancer survivor.

Left to cherish the memories are her children Tammy Neese of Cabot, Ark. and Bill Spradlin (Gina) of Greenbrier; grandchildren Shelley Neese of Malvern, Crystal Neese of Sherwood, Derek Spradlin of Sherwood, and Erik Spradlin (Lacey) of Conway; great-grandchildren Bryson, Temperance, and Archer Spradlin and Celeste White; Sister Syble Bradley of North Little Rock; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Nedia is preceded in death by her husband, Cpl. Hughey E. Bridges, great-grandson Nehemiah Michaels, and siblings Dewey Kimbrell and Joyce Campbell.

Visitation for Nedia is scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10:00am in the Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00am on Friday, November 18, 2022.
