Nellie Jo Neja Pafford Floyd, 39, passed away April 30, 2011. Born in Hot Springs to Alan and Cindy McLendon Pafford, she was a Registered Nurse with two other degrees. She will be remembered for her beauty and her love of the outdoors which she inherited from her father. Neja loved to have a good time!
Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by her son, Tristan Floyd of Jacksonville; her mother, Cindy James of Grapevine, Texas; step-sister, Summer Eson Pafford Crump and husband, Terry; step-mother, JoAnn Stevens; step-grandmother, Irene Gaither, all of the Hot Springs area; grandfather, James Pafford, Sr.; uncle, James Pafford, Jr. and wife, Carolee; cousins, Michael Pafford and wife, Michelle, Hesper Pafford Hortman and husband, Robbie, also of Hot Springs area; grandmother, Mary Grossman; aunt, Terri Pafford Jett and husband, John; cousin, Jennifer Jett Corbett and husband, Doug, all of Oakhurst, California; step-grandmother, Betty Puckett of Fayetteville, Arkansas; many second cousins and tons of good friends!
A very special thanks goes out to Chuck and Gena Floyd. Their patience, cooperation, understanding and love have been invaluable.
Services will be held June 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highway 7 Swimming/Day Use Area (Bikini Beach) on Lake DeGray, located on the south end of the last dike on Hwy. 7 South. Please bring your lunch and drinks. Family and friends will gather for conversation after the service.
If water level is high, location will change to Caddo Valley (lower dam). Changes will be posted on gate at Hwy. 7 area if needed.
