Nellie Lorine Jones

Nellie Lorine Crone Jones, age 95, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1930, in Scott, Arkansas, to Ben and Abbie Crone.

Nellie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around her family and her faith. She found great joy in traveling, playing games, and spending meaningful time with those she loved most. Nellie was an active and faithful member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, where her commitment and presence were cherished by her church family.

She is survived by her loving sons, Robert Jones (Cindy) and Barry Jones (Judy); her grandchildren, Jacob Jones (April), Clay Jones (Dana), Whitney Henry (Robert), and Katie Brown (Jonathan); and her great-grandchildren, Lexi Jones, Austin Jones, Marek Jones, Mason Jones and Steele Henry. She is also survived by her siblings, Doris Thompson, Barbra Sparks, Dolly Spann, Richard Crone and Irene Elliott.

She was preceded in death by Robert “Bob” J. Jones Sr., her parents, Ben and Abbie Crone; her brother, Benjamin Crone; and her sister, Judy Hoover.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Amberwood Health and Rehabilitation for the loving care and compassion shown to Nellie.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, located at 25799 I-30, Bryant, Arkansas 72022. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Olive Hill Cemetery, located at 14514 Chicot Road, Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene.

Nellie will be remembered for her loving spirit, her strong faith, and the deep devotion she showed to her family and friends. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.
