Nickie Broadwell, 74, of Jacksonville, passed away September 18, 2017. She grew up in Currituck County, North Carolina and lived in Ft. Lauderdale and Jacksonville, Florida, Old Bridge, New Jersey, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jacksonville, Arkansas. Nickie was a devoted mother to her sons and grandchildren. She was well loved and will be missed.
She is survived by a sister, Connie Owens of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; two sons, Larry Aaron Broadwell of Ohio and Neil Broadwell (Edith Llumiquinga) of Jacksonville; and grandchildren, Alexander Broadwell, David Jarett Broadwell, Caylea Broadwell, Courtney Broadwell, Chelsi Robinson, Christopher Luis Broadwell; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, William Cecil O'Neal, mother, Pearl E. Brickhouse, stepfather, Winton Thompson and four siblings.
Services will be Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), (501)224-2200. Nickie's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
