Nickol Evelyn Williams age 85 of Arkadelphia died Thursday in Malvern. She was born June 3, 1924 the daughter of Reuben and Belle Haynes Smith. She was a retired secondary school teacher in the Arkadelphia School System, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, several other educational organizations and a member of First Baptist church of Arkadelphia. She was the widow of Stephen Brunce Williams Jr.
Survivors include two sons, David Paul Williams of Natchez, MS, Marc Stephen Williams of Lawton, OK, one sister Laverne Stephenson of Tuscaloosa, AL, two grandchildren, Melanie Williams-Mangold of Germany, Heather Nicole Williams of Natchez, MS, and 2 great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday in the Ten Mile Cemetery near Lonsdale with Pastor Wade Overturf officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
