Nina Ross Lenderman Lockard, 92, died at her home in Sylvania, Arkansas on August 25, 2011. She was born May 6, 1919, to Oscar and Daisy Ross.
A lifelong resident of the Sylvania community, she was an active member of the Sylvania Presbyterian Church. She was a retired dairy farmer and loved to be outdoors working in her yard and garden.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Alton Lenderman and Truett Lockard; her brothers Ivan and Paul Ross; her sisters Evelyn Allison, Betty Howell and Jennalea Howell.
Her survivors are her daughter, Joyce Lenderman Kelly; her grandson, Christopher Kelly and wife, Beth; her granddaughter, Amanda Kelly Southwood and husband Trey; two great-grandsons, Beaumont Southwood and Thomas Kelly; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2011, at Sylvania Presbyterian Church, with funeral service to follow at 2:00. Burial will be in Sylvania Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Sylvania Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 373, Ward, AR 72176.
