Nora Mae Allen, 92, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born February 25, 1916, at Blue Eye, Missouri, to Alexander and Sarah Sandifer Cason, and she died Friday, September 12, 2008, at her home in Beebe. She received her B.A. from Southwest Missouri State, and was a long-time first grade teacher. After retirement, she worked in the family business for nineteen years.
Nora was preceded in death by her husband, J. T. Allen, one sister and two brothers. She is survived by two sons, Tom Allen (Rosa) and Jim Allen (Gisela), all of Beebe; one daughter, Sarah Morse (Larry) of Clarksville; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 University Ave., Little Rock, AR 72203.
