Nora Harris

Nora Oliver Harris, 90, of Ward, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 21, 2011. She was born February 2, 1921 in Ward to C.E. and Ople Oliver. She was a member of Old Austin Baptist Church in Austin, Arkansas for seventy-five years, and was a faithful servant to her Lord, family, and community. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hartford Harris, son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Norma Harris, one granddaughter, Debbie, and one great-grandson, Justin. Survivors include a son, Louis (Peggy) Johnson, of Beebe, and his children, Steve (Pat) Johnson of Austin and Teri (Dwayne) Roper of Cabot; son, Bill (Wanda) Harris, of Ward, and his children, Cathy (RD) Davis and Vicki (Dave) Birt both of Ward, Dusty (Ron) Doughty of Temple, Texas, and Biff (Janet) Harris of Cameron, Texas; one daughter, Emma Ruth Harris of Ward and her grand-daughter, Samantha Hartung of Wisconsin; two grandsons, John (Bernice) Harris of Clarendon and Richard (Linda) Harris of Sherwood; one sister, Ruth (Tony) Ramirez of Cabot; three sisters-in-law, Bobbie Harris of Little Rock, Jo Oliver of Cabot, and Topsy Johnson of Clinton; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
