Norma Viola Chappell, 94, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, December 18, 2017. She was born July 9, 1923 in Augusta, Arkansas to Arthur and Elizabeth Ford Hestir.
She is survived by her husband of seventy-three years, Murel James Chappell; daughters, Carol Chappell, Mary (David) Taylor; granddaughters, Lauren Taylor, Lindsay (Mike) Fleisher; brother, Cliff (Shirley) Hestir; great-grandsons, Matthew and Samuel Fleisher; and many other friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Easterseals of Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
