Norma Cox
Norma D. Cox age 92 of Okolona passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in Okolona. She was born January 29, 1921 in Okolona, the daughter of the late Owen and Ethel Hare Clingan. She was a member of Okolona United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Cox; two sons, Neal and Tommy Cox; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Pierce and Minnie Faye Urban.
Survivors are one daughter, Francis Johnson of Okolona; three sons, Paul David (Cotton) Cox and wife, Frankie of Gurdon, Jimmy Cox and wife, Sara, Clifford (Chip) Cox and wife, Jeannie both of Okolona; twenty-four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 23rd at Weir Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Jones officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Dickie Johnson, Jay Cox, Greg Cox, Ryan Cox, Chris Cox and Jamie Williams.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Weir Cemetery Fund C/O Charlene Park, Box 14, Okolona, AR 71962. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers, Dwana Smith, Pam Malone-Allen and Baptist Home Health & Hospice Care.
