O.Q. Boroughs, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, December 24, 2007. She was known to all who loved her as Mama Q. She was a member of Methodist Church and worked at University of Arkansas Medical Center in the nursery as a LPN.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Boroughs, of Crestview, Florida and Charles Boroughs, of North Little Rock; brother, Jim Cantrell, of Tennessee; two sisters, Bea Cantrell, of Florida and Ollene Hoilmon, of Tennessee; grandchildren, Rick McConnell, Mark Chastain, Jeremy and Nicholas Boroughs; and great-grandchildren, Katie Elizabeth, Conner Phoenix, Isabella and Zachary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady E. Boroughs and daughter, Frances Elizabeth McConnell.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children?s Foundation, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
