Bobbie Erskine Hesterly passed away February 27, 2020 in Hot Springs Village. She was born May 21, 1932 in Hope, Arkansas to A.B. and Jane Erskine, the seventh of nine children. She graduated from Prescott High School as salutatorian, where she was in the band and a Curley Wolves cheerleader. A Little Rock resident for most of her life, Bobbie was a full-time mother to four children and an active volunteer. She taught Sunday School to children and adults at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church for 55 years, retiring only last spring. She also served as a church choir member, a Brownie leader, a PEO, a volunteer at CARTI, an election poll worker, and a member of the UAMS Faculty Wives. She and Otho hosted two AFS foreign exchange students in the 1980s. In recent years, she was a tireless caregiver to her sister Inez and then to Otho.
