Stotts and Esther Lindsey Stotts, he attended Hendrix College and went to pharmacy school in St. Louis. He was a football enthusiast who loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Razorbacks and was the team doctor for Pulaski Academy, Joe T. Robinson and other Little Rock schools. He was a lifelong student, continuing his medical education and maintaining his medical license until the illness of his wife last year.

Dr. Stotts was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of the Pulaski County Medical Society and the American Medical Association, and an American Family Practice Fellow. He loved to hunt and fish, and especially loved the times he spent with his family at "the cabin" on Greers Ferry.
