Odessa Louise Greer, 86, of Benton, Arkansas died on March 24, 2016 at a local hospital. Odessa was born June 9, 1929 to the late Walter and Lula (McCallister) Lemons in Bauxite, Arkansas.
Odessa was a Godly woman first and foremost. She was a first-grade teacher for twenty-years and loved her students greatly. Odessa has been released from her crippling body and now walks alongside her Lord and Savior on streets of gold without any pain.
Odessa is preceded in death by her husband William Jefferson Greer; one son: William ‘Mark" Marcus Greer and two sisters: Ola Mae Waller and Ora Agnes West and one brother: Luther Dekalb Lemons. She is survived by one Granddaughter: Lauren Odessa Greer and Fiancé Dallas Curtis; two Grandsons: Richard Michael Greer and Brandon Greer Highfield and his wife Jennifer; two great-grandchildren: Conner Mark Caple and Taylor Marie Grace Curtis; nieces and nephews: Charlotte Reasons and husband Jim, John Hugh West and wife Molly, Carol Shurtz, Barbara Still and husband Medie and Liz Padilla; one Daughter-n-law: Lora Billingsley.
