Ola Sims, 79, of Scott took her Father by the hand and entered Heaven on Monday, March 2, 2009. She was born January 26, 1930 to Jerry Claude and Martha Bell Dove in Paris, Arkansas. She was a member of Cornerstone Worship Center.
Her survivors include four daughters, Sue (Carlton) German, of Marion, Wanda (John) Barnett, of England, Marilyn (Danny) Warrick, of North Little Rock and Elizabeth Ann (Donny) Houser, of Scott; five sons, Rev. Larry (Sandi) Sims, of Beebe, Gary (Lenora) Sims, of Antioch, Mike (Mary) Sims, of Sherwood, Kenny Sims, of Scott and Brad (Christy) Sims, of North Little Rock; three sisters, Ocie Wilhite, Bessie Sartin and Mary Fiser; two brothers, Ralph and Billy Dove; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Riley L. Sims; parents; grandson, Jerry Don Houser; two sisters and four brothers.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all. She possessed a love for life that will not be replaced. She will be missed by everyone that she has touched throughout her great life.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
