Ollie "Woody" Wood was born on April 10, 1926 in Philadelphia, MS and passed away on December 19, 2017 at his home in Beebe, AR. He was a beloved member of the Stoney Point Methodist Church. Among many things he was a pilot, the owner of a taxi business, a termite control business and a construction business. He loved the Lord, music, his family, and garage sales.

Woody was preceded in death by his son Steven Dee Wood; parents Dee & Ida Wood; 4 brothers, Troy Wood, Guinn Wood, Cordia Wood, Devonne Wood; and 5 sisters, Zell Walling, Werdna Manning, Sally Costello, Ruth Dunn, Irene Wood.
Survivors include his wife Pat Wood; children Larry Wood and wife Charlie of Denver, CO; Debra Catorie and husband Louis of Houston, TX; Donna Dampier of Denver, CO; Jan Bennet and husband Paul of Denver, CO; Kelly Williams of Beebe, AR; Kim Winfrey and husband Steve of Floyd, AR; and Tamara Wood of Beebe, AR. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Woody was a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
