Oneida Ouzts
Oneida C. Ouzts, 89 of Burnet, Texas (formerly of North Little Rock), died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Oaks Nursing Center. She was born on March 15, 1923 in England, Arkansas and was the daughter of Frank James Carr and Elizabeth Strickland- Carr. She was a ICU & CCU nurse for over twenty five years, retiring from Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock.
Oneida was preceded in death by her husband Rev. William Ouzts, daughter Jimmie Dale Digonia, her parents and seven siblings. Survivors include her son and daughter in law Ed and Joyce Ouzts of Liberty Hill, Texas and a sister Lavern Redding of Van Buren and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. both at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, AR 72120 Burial will be private at Edgewood Memorial Park Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
