Opal Ogle

Opal Lorene Ogle, 87, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. She was born September 17, 1929 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Homer Box and Pearline McCord. She lived in Stamps, Arkansas for many years. Opal attended Kellogg Valley Baptist Church, and enjoyed gardening, dancing, and singing. She loved spending time with and reading stories to her grandchildren.
Opal is survived by her children, Ralph Cole, Jimmy Cole, Lonnie Cole, Shari Short (Dave), Steve Munos and Shari Anne Cole; grandchildren, Deanna, Penny, Polly, Jimmy Jr., Tammy, Tina, Phillip, Steven and Cody; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Sonny Tennyson (Georgeanne); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ogle and her sister, Betty Sue Roberts.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street.
