Opal Lee (Pifer) Stoops, 89, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of East End Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonita MacNeill, of Sheridan, Rachel Glover, of Ft. Smith and Rose Ogden, of Little Rock; three sons, Melton Stoops, of Hensley, Sam Stoops, of Redfield and Tim Stoops, of Little Rock; two sisters, Ollie Wood and Mildred Jensen, both of Little Rock; twenty one grandchildren; forty seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess W. ?Sam? Stoops; three sons; one great-grandson; four brothers and three sisters.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Baptist Hospice staff and Carelink for assisting us through this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday at East End Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Ivy Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
