Pamela Kay Mitchell, age 76, passed away in Conway, Arkansas on September 12, 2025. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on September 9, 1949 to biological father Robert Stringfellow and mother Nora Gregg McCann and Father Bill McCann .
Pamela was a graduate of Metropolitan High School and Eaton Hair College in 1969 and was a hairdresser until she retired in 2015.
She loved working in the yard which was always immaculate, listening to her music loud while she cleaned house or driving fast with the windows down. She loved to dance and have a great time with friends. She loved her pets and all of nature. Her favorite foods were ice cream, donuts, burgers, and mashed potatoes. She was energetic, fun loving, funny, and sarcastic.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Shelley Ann Berg; and her siblings Wayne, David, and Richard Kennemer.
She is survived by her daughter, Callie Coburn of Conway and her son, Britt Mitchell (Julie) of Little Rock. Her grandchildren Riley, Maddie, and Elijah Mitchell.
A memorial service celebrating Pamela’s life will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes Conway Chapel with visitation following.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in honor of her mother or the Humane Society.
