Pamela "Pam" Davis Shook

Pamela "Pam" Kay Davis Shook, age 69, of Newhope, Arkansas, passed away from this life on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Pam was born December 18, 1956, in Umpire, Arkansas, to the late Hester Matthew Davis and Rosa Naoma (Oma) Davis Terrell. Pam was a Christian by faith. She married Dennis Shook on May 24, 2002. They shared many treasured memories over the years. Pam was a homemaker; she loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. Her yard was always beautiful. Pam was crafty and enjoyed many hobbies. She loved her dogs, especially Buddy. Pam treasured spending time with her family and friends, most of all her daughter. She was an awesome caregiver. Pam took care of her mother before her passing, along with other family members, with excellence and pride. Pam was very kind-hearted and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Shook; her parents, Hester Davis and Oma Davis Terrell; and her three sisters, Helen Coffman Raven, Clara Risner, and Betty Simmons.

Pam is survived by her daughter Bridget Pinkerton McGee of Glenwood; two grandsons, Johnny Ray (Hannah) Dowdy of Gravette and Chance (Crystal) Gatlin of Newhope; two great grand children Mallory Gatlin and Noah Ray Dowdy; her brother, Tony Davis (Darla) of Langley; her sister, Phyllis Howard (Leonard) of Umpire; and her two brother-in-laws Roy Risner of Newhope and Terry Shook of Hot Springs.

A Memorial Service will be held at Davis Section Cemetery, Umpire, AR. September 12, at 10:30 AM

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
