Pat Shannon
Pat Shannon, 64, of El Paso, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long battle with COPD, on May 12, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was a retired school bus driver for the Beebe and Cabot School Districts for thirty-two years and a member of the Oak Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma Cruise Bales and father Bill Bales of El Paso.
Pat is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, J. C. Shannon; three sons, John Shannon and wife Lori of Beebe, Billy Shannon and wife Holly of El Paso, Curtis Shannon and wife Sarah of Beebe; six grandchildren, Dalton, Garrett, Katie, Johnna, Lakyn and Linley Shannon; adopted sisters of the heart Phyllis Breckenridge and Debbie Patrom; a whole host of loving extended family and friends; and her beloved pet Molly.
Special thanks to Dr. Stan Kellar and the staff of Baptist Springhill North Little Rock for their care and compassion. Memorials may be made to Grissard Cemetery, c/o Wendy Drennan, 1226 Ridge Road, El Paso, AR 72045.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Oak Church of Christ in El Paso, with burial in Grissard Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
