Patricia Cross Keltner of Little Rock, a devoted wife, caring mother, loyal friend and caregiver to many, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. Pat was born on April 17, 1937 in Bauxite, Arkansas, to Bob and Joyce Cross. She was known as "Pattee" to her friends in Bauxite and at the University of Arkansas, where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and the university Hall of Fame.Upon graduation, she married Bill Keltner, and for most of their 52 years together, they lived in Little Rock as they raised their family and served the community that they loved.
A dedicated mother, Pat served as a Girl Scout leader, a PTA president, and a youth counselor at Trinity Methodist Church. She was known for her gentle and quiet spirit, and some of her favorite things were working in her garden and collecting old bottles and sea shells. She loved being with her husband, raising her children, caring for her parents, babysitting her grandchildren, and doting on her faithful dog, Bear.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Cross; daughter, Ann Slack (husband, Clay and children, Trey and Robert); son, Bob Keltner (wife, Amy and children, Peter and Hannah); and daughter, Julie Hughes (husband, Mike and children, Isabella and Jackson).
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 31 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1101 N. Mississippi, followed by a reception in their Fellowship Hall.
