Paulette Eve Wright, 78, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024. She was born in Sylacauga, Alabama on December 24, 1945. Preceding her in death, were her parents Curtis and Pauline Liner, husband Cecil W. Wright, and two of her children Christopher Wayne and Kimberly Rhea Wright.
Mrs. Wright was a devoted wife and mother. She supported her military husband by caring for the family with many moves stateside and two tours overseas.
She worked for Family Life Ministries for 20 years holding a variety of positions, most notably that of volunteer coordinator. In 2000, she achieved Arkansas Coordinator of the Year.
She delighted in serving in her local church, supporting various ministries such as Sunday School, Choir, and Awana. At the time of her death, she was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Later in life she enjoyed traveling with her husband often attending University of Alabama Crimson Tide football games. She loved her grandkids and was very proud that she saw each one graduate high school. She was devoted to keeping in touch with her family and friends by talking on the phone.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughters, Krystal (Mike) McCammon, Tara (Mike) Kiger, and Kelly Mullen. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; Drew McCammon, Tyler McCammon, Kayla McCammon, Kristoffer Kiger, Rebekah Scott, Madelyn Kiger, and her two great grandsons; Jaxton McCammon and Madix McCammon.
Visitation will be from 2:00PM-4:00PM on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). A funeral service will be held at 9:30AM on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Central Baptist Church (5200 Fairway Ave.) with burial following at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
