Pauline McConnell

Pauline McConnell, 92, of Alexander passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Bryant and retired from the Arkansas School for the Deaf. After retirement she was an in-home caregiver for the elderly. She loved sewing, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Marie Meadows and Patsy Cross, both of Bryant; son, Bill Johnson (Barbara) of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter, Betty Sturdivant, of Benton; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everrett McConnell; son, Paul Johnson and parents, Earnest and Ola Outlaw.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Saline Memorial Hospice and Heartland Care Center for their care and support.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
