Peggy Jo Brown, 73, of Benton passed away Friday October 14. She was born in Jamestown, TX on May 16, 1938 to Robert Gatha Ashley and Nora Evie Sims Ashley.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wilkerson (Eddie) of North Little Rock, son, Jimmy Holland (Rose) of Scotland, TX; sisters, Eloise Ashley Malone, of Tyler, TX, Billie Medlock (Ken) of Benton; two grandchildren, Edward Wilkerson (Robyn) of Texarkana, TX and Chad Ray Holland of Wichita Falls, TX. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. "Buddy" Brown, parents, brothers, Winston Ashley of Claifornia, Dee Ashley of Tyler, TX, sisters, Oudia Ashley Downing of Tyler, TX and Billie Ruth Ashley Brannen of Sherwood, AR.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Little Rock Funeral Home with Reverend's Keith Medlock, Heath Clower and Aaron Ledford officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, October 16 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Burial will be in Livingston, TX next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Love Offering Temple Baptist Church, 10710 I-30, Little Rock, AR 72209.
